Moving forward with PEPID’s Bedside Education in Florida State University’s (FSU) College of Medicine, whose faculty, students and staff have been using PEPID’s Clinical Rotation Companion suite since 2008.
This year, while evaluating the myriad of medical information solutions available to their student body, Director of the Maguire Medical Library, Martin Wood, MSLIS, AHIP saw the value in adding PEPID’s Bedside Education to their students’ Clinical Rotation Companion. Out of this renewed academic partnership, PEPID aims to play an even bigger role in improving patient outcomes by helping instill the habit of effective counseling among emerging clinicians.

PEPID’s Bedside Education can be used as an independent tool or along with any other PEPID resources to improve patient adherence by supporting doctor-patient communications and patients’ understanding of their own conditions immediately at the point of care.
